Biography

Chuanyun Fu is a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Civil Engineering, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He obtained his BE, ME, and PhD degrees of transportation engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China. Since November 2021, he has been an associate professor at School of Transportation Science and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China. From March 2016 to October 2021, he was an assistant professor at School of Transportation and Logistics, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China. His research interests cover traffic safety analysis, crash estimation, traffic conflict techniques, and advanced statistical modeling.
