Biography

As an NRC researcher for 23 years and principal investigator (and initiator) in asset management, Dr. Vanier garnered millions in research funds from outside agencies. He worked four years as a building scientist and IT specialist at Public Works and Government Services Canada and five years as a military engineering officer with Department of National Defence.

Research Interests

3D computer graphics, CAD/CADD, automated building codes, and asset management Construction Management and Infrastructure Asset Management to graduate and undergraduates.
